T.A.X. were a Duisburg based band formed by Michael Bormann and his brother Dirk in 1987 after the end of High Voltage a band also formed by Bormann brothers and acted between 1979 – 1987.

Surgical Steel were a metal band releasing few demos and an EP in the early 80s before change their name to Notorious and a sound close to melodic hard rock compare to the aura of the period.

This band hails from Russia and they released this album on a Canadian indie label. The band is a four person band and they play a cool, late 80s style mix of Southern Hard Rock and Hair Metal with some bluesy influences similar in ways to Tangier and Southgang.

Formed in 2008, this NJ-based trio chose a mash-up of the words “cascade” and “cadence” to reflect the relentless rhythmic and hook-laden attack that embodies their music, songs easy to remember but difficult to forget.

Yukon hailing from the South of Germany were founded in the mid 80s. They toured a lot what brought them a huge fanbase, played many festivals and won prices at several rock contests. In the late 80s they opened for acts like Cozy Powell or Leslie West.

This band hails from New York and they play some catchy Hard Rock in the vein of Flesh Tuxedo, Boetto and Dukes Nitemare. These guys can really rock. Take a look at the picture of the band and you know you are in for a real treat.

The American collector’s iaor rock band made the 7th album released in ’85 and the collector’s re-release board of the last album. 3 bonus tracks included. Among their work, the album with the most rock color is a masterpiece filled with hard, pop, and tune full of the best.

So too did accomplished percussionist Mike Maineri, who incidentally is the husband of the lady in question: Dee Carstensen. Mostly known as a harpist and coming from a Conservatory background in New York State, She eventually moved into the singer-songwriter field.

Our first full length debut album has now been rerecorded, remixed and remastered featuring Darren James Smith (Red Dragon Cartel/Harem Scarem) on lead vocals, JT Harris on guitar, bass and keys along with Alexis Von Kraven (Moxy) on drums!

Excellent compilation of a number of EPs and recordings. If this is the precursor for the debut studio album next year, the signs are very good! Highlights of ‘Down & Out’ include the epic ‘Down’ and the mesmerising ‘Time Rolls On’. A must for any rock collection.
