Wednesday 13 is the best thing going in Rock ‘N Roll right now, as he is everything that Rock ‘N Roll should be about, and I absolutely love his music. Now having stated that, this four-disc collection is right up my alley, as it is mainly for the die-hard fan (which is maybe why it is in a limited edition number).

Although Evergreen is a self-cover album, much of it felt very new to me as I have never been able to purchase many of their older releases. The only song that I was familiar with was “The Way to the Hill” from their 2001 self-titled and the improvement between this version and the original is incredible; I love Nakamura’s new sexy lick at the beginning and the added jolt of dynamism incorporated into the main guitar solo.
