The California Jam festival is called the second Woodstock, and probably for good reason. Deepapapyl alone is worth something … Legends went about their performance – and that they were an hour late by moving the following speakers – Emerson, Lake & Palmer – somewhere into the night, and that when Blackmore finally got a videographer, he threw it at him with a guitar, and hit the camera, and that at the end of the performance they had an amplifier exploded and almost burned the whole scene, and that after the concert ended, fleeing from the evil firefighters and security staff, the guys had to run away on a helicopter … what not, see for yourself …
