Beginning production in 2020, “Receptor” was poised to be the immediate successor to Dissona’s 2016 album “Paleopneumatic” before the pandemic dashed the industry’s momentum upon the rocks. Time, however, has a curious way of reviving what was once forced into dormancy.

Now completely realized and tangible, “Receptor” is an electrifying journey that embodies Dissona’s dynamic and unmistakable approach to the metal medium. Dissona’s third studio album, “Receptor”, is coming on October 1st, 2025, via Earache Distribution.
