Today we are self-made compilation: “JUDAS PRIEST – Gull Records Era 1971-1975 Rarities, Demos & Live“. As requested by many, here’s rare early Priest material from 1971-75. While there’s a lot of bootlegs with these songs / demos, you should try our sound quality – the best you’ll find, believe us.

Included are two demos with first vocalist Alan Atkins recorded at SARM Studios, London, UK, in 1973, ‘Rocka Rolla’ original mix, some cool demos such as ‘Hero, Hero’ (later re-worked and expanded resulting in the debut LP track ‘Dying To Meet You’), the songs Judas Priest recorded at BBC Studios for the ‘Old Grey Whistle Test’ TV show on April 25th, 1975, and their complete set list at Reading Festival, August 22, 1975.

We also find unique material from Rob Halford’s first ever official Judas Priest concert and even more staggeringly, the last Priest gig with original singer Alan Atkins and drummer Chris ‘Congo’ Campbell in Birmingham from April 1973. The lengthy composition ‘Morpheus’ captured is one of Atkins’ finest moments.
‘Red Light Lady’, ‘Cheater’ and a raw version of ‘Never Satisfied’ from July 17th 1973 at Bolton Town Hall in Manchester showcase the impactful, yet nervous arrival of Halford during that crucial crossover period. Truly significant recordings of huge appeal to all Priest fans.
Vintage JUDAS PRIEST rocks, and rocks greatly.
