Uh, what the fuck was that? That was my first impression of Rough Rockers and their ‘Pimped & Poisoned’ EP and, to be honest, ten spins later and I’ve still no clue as to what exactly I’ve been listening to.Imagine if Mercyful Fate met Europe in a bar playing only early Pink Floyd on the jukebox and they had the best night of their lives – that’s Rough Rockers. Early Quo meets Entombed at a record fare where they all discover that they’re wearing White Lion shirts – that’s Rough Riders.
