Trewa (alt-lombardisch für “Waffenstillstand”) sind eine Folk-Prog Band aus Italien und zählen Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Gentle Giant, The Police sowie Queen zu Ihren Einflüssen. So breitgefächert diese Einflüsse erscheinen, so stimmig klingt das Resultat „Many Meetings On A Blithe Journey“. Das neue Album der Band um Luca Briccola entführt den Hörer in eine andere Zeit und besticht vor allem durch die tolle und vielfältige Instrumentierung. Leider bleibt die Produktion (Drums) insgesamt ein wenig blass. Dies soll den positiven Eindruck der CD jedoch nicht schmälern. Für Fans des Folk-Prog sicherlich zu empfehlen. Allen anderen empfehle ich: anhören und entdecken.
