SEVEN – Man With A Vision ’90 + Inside Love ’90 CDs + Demos + BBC Session

Despite sporting a ‘good looking guys’ & ‘chart product’ image, short-lived 1990 UK band SEVEN in fact was made up with seasoned musicians who wrote their own songs and performed all instruments.

Produced by John Parr and with guitar contribution by Scott Gorham (Thin Lizzy, 21 Guns), SEVEN released two Maxi-Singles on the Polydor label the same year: “Inside Love” in January, and “Man With A Vision” in June, 1990.
With an AOR feeling and radio friendly melodies SEVEN were poised for bigger things. Polydor put them on tour with Richard Marx, Jason Donovan, The Monkees and other major acts, they recorded a BBC Session Live on July 1990, and a full LP was in the pipeline.
However, some label / management problems dissolved the project. A shame, they were very good. There’s rumours that a full album was recorded, but shelved…
If you like John Parr’s music and style, well done poppy AOR with class, SEVEN 1990’s music is a must have. Between both Maxi-singles they only released… yes, 7 songs, but all are pure late ’80s.
But  always give you more, and we have the BBC Session Live in the Studio with 2 unreleased songs, and demos also with unreleased stuff as well.
Sure, SEVEN reformed last decade releasing two good full length albums, but this early material is a collectors item for fans of this genre.
