Trust Me, This Is Going To Hurt is not just the title of their latest album, it might as well be a warning. An addictive dose of Rocky Horror dancing with Johnny‘s Heartbreakers and hacked out by Tyla of the Dogs after a night of whiskey and too many cigarettes.

What Steve Jones of the Pistols might sound like serenading a slice on the Upper East Side. Raw and devilishly delicious. The DeRellas‘ blistering takes on Jayne County‘s own filthy version of The Strangeloves‘ “Night Time” and Janet Weiss‘ Rocky Horror slut ditty “Touch-a Touch-a Touch-a Touch Me” fitting foreplay alone. Even so, it’s the original tracks that truly make Trust Me, This Is Going To Hurt sting and to put it mildly, hurt so good.
