Turning Point – River Dance (1994)

Sweden Originally including ex-Kingsize bassist Ulrick Thunman and ex-Nasty Groove drummer Jonas Carlsson Swedish outfit Turning Point underwent drastic line-up changes following the release of the ‘River Dance’ album in 1994, with only vocalist Tord Persson surviving.

The album was recorded with bassist Michael Blomberg and drummer Robin Jönsson. The group recruited guitarist Fredric Avesson and Mikael Olofsson, and the group teamed up once more with Thunman and Calsson. The band then covered Thin Lizzy’s ‘Emerald’ to the ‘Lizzy Songs’ compilation album in 1995.
